Lamrin Tech Skills University continues to raise the bar in national-level sports, with a stellar performance at the All India Inter University Powerlifting (Men & Women) Championship 2023–24, held from May 20 to May 25, 2024, at Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University.
With over 850 athletes from 150+ universities, the event was a grand spectacle of physical power, mental focus, and competitive grit. Amid fierce competition, LTSU’s athletes emerged as champions, securing:
• 1st Position in the Women’s Category (46 points)
• 2nd Position in the Men’s Category (29 points)

LTSU’s women’s powerlifters showed incredible dominance across weight categories:
• Madhu (69kg): Gold Medal – 12 points
• Komal (63kg): Silver Medal – 9 points
• Gita (47kg): Silver Medal – 9 points
• Seema Kuntal (52kg): Bronze Medal – 8 points
• Neha Mishra (76kg): Bronze Medal – 8 points
• Rimjhim Kumari & Shallu: Valuable participation points
Men’s Highlights:
On the men’s front, LTSU’s lifters gave an inspiring performance:
• Gourav Sharma (120kg): Gold Medal – 12 points
• Parduman (105kg): Silver Medal – 9 points
• Navdeep (74kg): Ranked 5th – 6 points
• Ritik (83kg): Ranked 9th – 2 points
• Others: Sukhraj, Devesh, Chandra Prakash, and Sanjay Kumar proudly participated, contributing to the team’s overall strength.
