Lamrin Tech Skills University proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India on 15th August with great enthusiasm and national spirit. The celebrations commenced with the grand flag hoisting ceremony led by our Hon’ble Chancellor, Mrs. Nirmal Ryat, accompanied by faculty, staff, and students gathered to pay tribute to the nation. The tricolour fluttered high as the National Anthem echoed across the campus, filling hearts with pride.
As part of the celebrations, the Chancellor also inaugurated a tea plantation drive within the university campus, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to sustainability and environmental care. Students and staff actively participated in planting saplings, marking a green step towards a better future.
A highlight of the day was the women’s parade, where the spirit of empowerment and equality shone bright. The participants, dressed in vibrant attire, marched with discipline and confidence, symbolising the strength of women in shaping the nation’s progress.
Adding to the festive cheer, a traditional Handi Fod competition was organised, drawing excitement and enthusiastic participation from students. The event brought a lively and joyful atmosphere, reviving the essence of cultural heritage.
The day concluded with refreshments and camaraderie, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of unity, patriotism, and commitment to the values that define our great nation.
