This is a full-time on-site role for a Training and Placement officer for University School of Engineering and Technology at Lamrin Tech Skills University. As a TPO you will be employed to provide support to students in work experience placements including internships, coop placements, service-learning assignments and community learning activities. As part of the Training and Placement office team, the Student Placement Officer will contribute to the development and implementation of an experiential and work-integrated learning strategy while working in collaboration with the academic schools.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate either final placement including internships and/or co-op placements and/or assignments for Engineering and Polytechnic programs.
  2. Engage with employers in order to develop and foster work integrated learning opportunities for students.
  3. Design and implement student work-readiness and career development programming, including resume development, interview preparation workshops, and job search techniques.
  4. Assist with program promotion, including public speaking and designing written materials to ensure program growth with both students and employers.
  5. Creates and distributes a range of resource and promotional materials designed for the recruitment and retention of targeted groups.
  6. Event planning to support initiatives within Career Services and academic schools that raise the profile of, and opportunities for, student work and experiential learning experiences.

The role of Director –International Admissions will be to manage all operations and admissions enquiries and process international student applications efficiently by assessing overseas qualifications and supporting documents in accordance with the University entry criteria and procedures.
 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

  1. To manage and administer LTSU’s participation, including enquiries, application andreporting of international students who wish to take admission in LTSU.
  2. To provide support and specialized advice for both staff and students on rules and regulations associated to International Admissions.
  3. To connect with Institutional frameworks in other countries and promote unique courses offered by LTSU.
  4. Manage and process students enrolling through world bank initiatives.
  5. Contact various embassies to promote LTSU programs.
  6. To ensure LTSU’s web pages are up to date in relation to International Admission and contribute to the production of marketing materials from an admissions perspective to ensure accurate representation of LTSU’s requirements and entry criteria.
  7. Take ownership in maintaining the LTSU’s knowledge base regarding sector changes and specific issues in relation of admission programs and contribute to internal and external audits related to LTSU.
  8. Answer and assist in dealing with incoming queries from generic emails and calls.

Or having experience as a CEO level in a reputed Organization / Sector Skill.
Or Professionals with experience as a Vice President – Industry and Liaison with Industry 
Or has served as Head of Recruitments in a renowned Corporate.
Or has Worked with associations like Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry FICCI), Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) etc. 
Or has worked with universities / Education Industry at the same level.
