Lamrin Tech Skills University proudly hosted the All India Inter University (AIU) Tug of War Championship 2024–25 from April 5 to April 9, 2025. With over 60 universities from across India participating in both Men’s and Women’s categories, the event was a powerful display of teamwork, determination, and unity.
A Grand Sporting Stage
Held at LTSU’s state-of-the-art sports ground, the championship brought together young athletes from diverse institutions, creating an atmosphere of vibrant competition and cultural exchange. The venue’s professional setup played a key role in ensuring fair play and high energy throughout the event.

The championship was inaugurated with grace and grandeur, attended by esteemed personalities, including:

• Dr. Rakesh Malik, Director of Sports, Panjab University

The Championship Unfolds
• Day 1 (5th April): Inauguration and ceremonial launch
• Day 2 & 3 (6th April): Preliminary rounds kicked off with intense face-offs between teams, showcasing raw strength and tactical execution
• Day 4 (8th April): Semi-final rounds tested endurance and teamwork under pressure
• Day 5 (9th April): The grand Finals and Closing Ceremony took place, graced by:

• Mrs. Ritu Ranaut, Administrative Director, LTSU
Winning teams were honored for their exemplary performance and sportsmanship, marking the perfect culmination of the event.
