The University School of Engineering and Technology (USET) at Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab successfully organised Hack the Future 2.0 on 10th October 2025, a 12-hour intra-university hackathon aimed at promoting innovation, problem-solving, and hands-on technical learning.
Event Overview
The hackathon was organised by the ISTE Student Chapter in collaboration with Team Cyber Swipe and witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 students across 30 teams. The event provided a competitive platform for students to apply their technical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Competition Tracks
Participants competed across multiple technical domains, including:
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Data Science
- Cyber Security – Capture The Flag (CTF)
The diverse tracks encouraged interdisciplinary learning and practical application of emerging technologies.
Winners & Recognitions
The following teams emerged as top performers in the hackathon:
- 1st Position: Team Pixel
- 2nd Position: Team Paradox
- 3rd Position: Team Tech Titans
- CTF Category Winner: Team Jugaad Coders
A cash prize of ₹5,000 was awarded to the winners, while the runner-up teams received ₹3,000, recognising their innovation and technical excellence.
