In a grand and spirited ceremony, Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) proudly inaugurated the All India University Tug of War Championship 2025 on its state-of-the-art campus today. The championship, organized under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), brings together student athletes from universities across the nation for a thrilling display of strength, coordination, and teamwork.
The event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. Parvinder who lit the ceremonial torch and addressed the participants. In their speech, they emphasized the importance of sports in holistic education and lauded LTSU’s initiative in promoting traditional Indian sports like Tug of War at the national level.

More than 5 universities from across India are participating in the championship, with both men’s and women’s teams vying for the coveted national titles. Matches scheduled throughout the day under the supervision of certified referees and the Tug of War Federation of India.
