Blood Donation Camp Organized at Lamrin Tech Skills University | A Step Towards Saving Lives

Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on campus, reinforcing its commitment to community welfare and social responsibility. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, making it a resounding success.

The camp was organized in collaboration with a reputed local blood bank and healthcare professionals, ensuring all safety protocols and hygienic practices were strictly followed. A team of experienced doctors and nurses were present throughout the event to facilitate smooth donation procedures and provide necessary medical assistance.

The objective of the camp was not only to collect blood for those in need but also to spread awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation. With each donation potentially saving up to three lives, the initiative played a crucial role in promoting the values of empathy, service, and civic duty among the university community.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Parvinder Singh said,

“At LTSU, we believe in nurturing not just skilled professionals but also responsible citizens. Blood donation is a noble cause, and I’m proud of our students and staff who came forward to contribute selflessly.”

More than 20 units of blood were collected during the camp. Each donor received a certificate of appreciation as a token of gratitude for their life-saving gesture.

Volunteers from various departments helped in coordinating the camp, ensuring that the entire process—from registration to post-donation refreshments—was well-managed and donor-friendly.

This initiative once again highlighted Lamrin Tech Skills University’s dedication to creating a culture of compassion, awareness, and active social contribution. The university plans to host such camps regularly and encourage more people to take part in this life-saving effort.
