A month ago, on 4th February, a significant milestone was achieved when Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Unati. This collaboration was made possible with the kind support and visionary leadership of S. Nirmal Singh Rayat, Hon’ble Chancellor, and the dedicated efforts of Dr. H. P. S. Dhami.
Today, that vision moved from paper to practice.
Launch of Diploma in Food Processing
The Diploma in Food Processing is the first academic program being launched under this collaboration. Designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the food and agro-processing sector, the program aims to empower learners with industry-relevant technical knowledge and hands-on exposure.
Today, three different batches of Unati employees were counselled for admission to the diploma program. The response was highly encouraging. The candidates displayed remarkable enthusiasm and motivation to enhance their skills and advance their careers.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to bridging the gap between education and employability.
Upcoming Drone Training Workshop – 9th March
In addition to the diploma program, a one-day Drone Training Workshop is scheduled for 9th March in collaboration with Unati.
With drone technology transforming sectors such as agriculture, logistics, surveillance, and infrastructure, this workshop will serve as an introduction to emerging career opportunities in the UAV ecosystem. It also aligns with the university’s larger vision of integrating futuristic skills into mainstream education.
