Pledge for a Drug-Free Campus | NSS LTSU

The University School of Engineering & Technology (USET), Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab (LTSU), through its National Service Scheme (NSS) unit, organised a Drug-Free Campus Pledge on 19th September 2025, aimed at creating awareness against drug use and promoting responsible lifestyle choices among students.

Programme Overview

The pledge activity was conducted in the presence of Dr. V. K. Saini, Deputy Dean, USET, Ratan Kaur, Assistant Director, Youth Services & NSS Coordinator, and Shubham Sharma, Assistant Professor. Their presence and guidance reinforced the importance of collective responsibility in building a healthy and safe academic environment.

Promoting Awareness and Responsible Choices

During the activity, students pledged to:

  • Stay away from drug use and substance abuse
  • Make informed and responsible personal choices
  • Contribute towards a healthier, safer, and empowered campus

The initiative encouraged students to reflect on the social, personal, and academic impact of substance abuse and the role of youth in prevention and awareness.
