This recognition marks an important milestone in the university’s efforts to promote digital learning tools and technology-enabled education in technical disciplines.
About the Initiative
The Virtual Labs initiative enables institutions to provide students with hands-on learning experiences through advanced simulations and remote experimentation tools. As a Nodal Centre, LTSU will facilitate structured access to a wide range of virtual laboratories and simulation-based learning resources, allowing students to explore, experiment, and learn in a safe and controlled digital environment.

Academic Leadership and Coordination
The university has appointed Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur, University School of Engineering & Technology (USET), as the Institute Nodal Coordinator (INC) for the Virtual Labs initiative. Her role will include coordinating implementation, student engagement, and collaboration with national stakeholders.
