At Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU), Punjab, we firmly believe that true learning flourishes where knowledge meets real-world application. In line with this ethos, we are thrilled to share the highlights of a transformative Subject Matter Expert (SME) lecture session organized in collaboration with L&T Edutech on April 17–18, 2025.
This two-day session was specifically curated for our B.Tech Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design & Technology) students of the 2024 batch, offering them a deep dive into practical innovation, systems thinking, and industry-oriented project development.
A Session Led by Excellence
The session was steered by the highly respected Dr. T. Muni Reddy, whose extensive knowledge and dynamic approach made the event both inspiring and enlightening. His mentorship ignited curiosity and pushed students to transform theoretical understanding into tangible outcomes.
Innovation in Action: Project Themes
Over the course of the program, students engaged in hands-on project development based on the following real-world themes:
• Automating Inventory Control
• Diesel Generator Monitoring
• Smart HVAC Systems
• Air Quality Monitoring (AQMS)
• Pick and Place Robotics
These themes were more than just academic exercises — they were opportunities to solve contemporary industrial and environmental challenges using technology.
Tools of the Trade
Students worked with a suite of advanced tools and technologies including:
• ESP8266 & ESP32 Boards
• Diverse Sensor Arrays
• Motor Drivers and Actuators
Through this, they developed functional prototypes, exploring the integration of hardware and software to create intelligent systems.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
This immersive session was not just about acquiring technical know-how; it was a testament to the power of experiential learning. It reinforced the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and agile thinking — core competencies for future-ready engineers.
A Step Toward Industry-Readiness
At LTSU, we remain committed to skill-based, industry-aligned education. Collaborations like this with L&T Edutech reflect our vision of cultivating engineers who are both academically proficient and practically adept.
Words of Appreciation
We extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. T. Muni Reddy and the L&T Edutech team for delivering a session filled with knowledge, challenge, and inspiration. Your contribution has left a lasting impact on our students’ learning journey.
