B.Pharmacy

  • Duration- 4 years

  • Eligibility- Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B /P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations


B. Pharm Lateral Entry

  • Duration- 3 years

  • Eligibility- A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act


D.Pharmacy

  • Duration- 2 years

  • Eligibility- Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy-A pass in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination.


B.Pharmacy (Practice)

  • Duration- 2 Years (180 working days/year)

  • Eligibility-
    I. A pass in Diploma course in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
    ii. A registered pharmacist.
    iii. A minimum of four years of pharmacy practice experience in a community or hospital pharmacy -

  • a. A certificate from competent authority stating that the candidate is endorsed as registered pharmacist in the drug license of a pharmacy as proof of practice experience in case of community pharmacist

  • b. A certificate from the Principal/Medical Superintendent/competent person of the Hospital/Health Unit stating that the candidate is working as a pharmacist will be accepted as proof of practice experience in case of hospital pharmacist

  • A 'No Objection Certificate' from the employer in prescribed format


M.Pharmacy Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm)

The institute started in 2003 and is front runner in developing pharmacists with skills, attitudes and knowledge during Diploma, Bachelor, M. Pharm. Program. Since then, we are on a continuous journey of growth and today by GOD's grace we boast of a big swarm of students.

I have a team of exceptionally brilliant and qualified faculty with me. Each member of the team is expert in his/her discipline and full of enthusiasm to share knowledge with you theoretically as well practical based for better professional development. About Us

Rayat Institute of Pharmacy (RIP) was established in 2003 with Degree & Diploma courses in Pharmacy programs and is also now offering Master courses in the discipline of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology. The institute was affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and currently runs under Lamrin Tech Skills University and the courses are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), All India Council of Technical Education , & Punjab State Board of Technical Education (PSBTE). The institute has successfully completed 17 batches at bachelor level, 15 batches at master level & 15 batches at Diploma level with 100% placement. From the last 20 years, we are on a journey of continuous growth and we boast a big swarm of students. The Institute continuously strives to provide high quality professional education and research training to students with the help of their ever dedicated staff to build one of the greatest educational set ups.

Labs & Infrastructure

Lecture Halls: The institute has ten well-furnished seminar-cum-lecture halls equipped with modern pedagogical techniques for effective teaching and learning.

Laboratories: The RIP has 25 well equipped and spacious research laboratory equipped with state of art facilities required for each specialized subject of pharmaceutical sciences including Central Instrument Room (has modern sophisticated instruments) and Computer Lab equipped with P-IV configuration on LAN for the students and faculty. The institute has open Wi-Fi internet facility.

Library: RIP has a well-established library which caters to the needs of the students and faculty. It is automated with a wide collection of latest books, periodicals and DVDs which is expanded and updated each year.

Animal House: The Institute has a large animal house with all the facilities for the maintenance and performance of animal experimentation. The animal house facility is registered with the Committee for the purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA),   New Delhi.  The Institute has its own Institutional Animal Ethical Committee which scrutinizes all the research proposals of PG students and routinely inspects the animal house.
