Two-Day Free Medical Health Check-up Camp

 On the occasion of World Health Day, the NSS Unit of LTSU Punjab, in collaboration with the NSS Unit of College of Law, Railmajra, inaugurated a Two-Day Free Medical Health Check-up Camp on 6th April 2025. The camp was organized at the Moot Court Room, College of Law, with a focus on promoting health awareness and providing essential medical care to hostel students.

The camp kicked off at 9:00 AM with great enthusiasm and participation. Dr. Ram Kumar, renowned ENT Specialist from Dr. RAM ENT Hospital, Ropar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was introduced by Ms. Arzu, NSS Volunteer, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr. Sohnu, Programme Officer, NSS, College of Law.

In his keynote address, Dr. Ram Kumar appreciated the efforts of both NSS Units for initiating such a noble cause and specially acknowledged Dr. Sohnu for his dedication to social service and community health. He also encouraged the volunteers to keep up their commendable efforts in spreading health awareness among the youth.

The first day saw a total of 63 students availing of medical check-ups, while 42 students underwent ear and hearing tests conducted by Mr. Santosh Kumar, Audiometry Technician.

The day concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Ratan Kaur, Coordinator, NSS Unit, LTSU Punjab, expressing gratitude to the medical team and all participants.

The event marked a successful beginning and created a positive impact, setting the momentum for the concluding day of the camp.
