Industrial Visit to Excellence Technology, Mohali
The University School of Commerce and Management organized an enriching industrial visit for BCA 1st Semester (Regular) students to Excellence Technology, Mohali, a leading IT organization.
The visit began with an engaging lecture by technical experts from Excellence Technology, providing students with a comprehensive overview of the latest trends and advancements in Computer Applications. The session covered a wide range of topics, emphasizing the evolving technology landscape and the critical skills required to thrive in the IT sector. Students were introduced to various career opportunities for BCA graduates, focusing on in-demand programming languages like Python and Java, along with frameworks such as React. Additionally, they were briefed on the initial salary packages offered by leading tech companies and the importance of mastering cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Full Stack Development.
After the lecture, students had the opportunity to tour the facilities of Excellence Technology. During the tour, they visited labs where learners were actively engaged in hands-on technology training, allowing the students to witness first-hand the application of various skills and gain valuable insights into practical learning environments.The visit allowed them to explore several key areas including Front-end and Back-end Development, Full Stack Development, the MERN Stack, Python and Java Programming, AI and ML, Deep Learning, Data Analytics, UI/UX Design, Graphics Design, Digital Marketing, WordPress Development, and Online Bidding.
The industrial visit served as a crucial learning experience, bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world application. It not only enhanced the students’ understanding of current IT trends but also inspired them to explore new career opportunities and the essential skills needed to excel in the dynamic world of technology.
