Lamrin Tech Skills University and Larsen & Toubro inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) : Cabinet Minister Aman Arora graced the occasion

Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab (LTSU) and Larson & Toubro  ( L & T) Edu Tech made landmark partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at bridging the gap between industry and academia. The MoU signing ceremony, held on June 14, 2024, marks a significant step towards enhancing the employability of students in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering domains.


The core objective of this collaboration is to provide application-oriented courses that align with future industry requirements, ensuring that students gain the practical skills needed to excel in their careers. This initiative addresses the current gaps in the curricula by integrating industry-relevant content and fostering an environment that supports career and learning outcomes.


The event also felicitated students of LTSU who have achieved accolades at state, national, and international levels in sports, recognizing their exceptional talents and dedication. Following this, a mega counseling session and felicitation of 750 meritorious students from all districts of Punjab and nearby states was conducted.


The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Sh. Aman Arora, Cabinet Minister, Department of Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training, Punjab, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaborations in today’s educational landscape. He appreciated the vision and industry-oriented programs offered by the university. He stated that with this spirit and commitment; LTSU will emerge as a preferred destination for students not only from India but also from abroad in due course of time.
Guest of Honour, Sh. Sanjai Ranganathan, Chief Executive of L&T EduTech, elaborated on the specifics of the LTSU-L&T EduTech MoU. He engaged with the students in a counseling session, addressing their questions and providing insights into the future of engineering education and career opportunities.


Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Chancellor of LTSU and Advisor to the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), provided an overview of the university's achievements and highlighted the unique aspects that make LTSU a leading institution in technical education. His address underscored the university's commitment to excellence and innovation in education.
The Vote of Thanks was presented by Dr. Rajiv Mahajan, Registrar of LTSU, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, guests, and participants for their contribution to making the event a success. The occasion also saw the presence of Prof. (Dr.) A.S. Chawla, Vice-Chancellor of LTSU, Dr. Parvinder Kaur, Pro Vice-Chancellor of LTSU, Sh. Ashok Sahu (National Sales Head - L&T EduTech, Sh. Ashish Mishra, Regional Lead - L&T EduTech who were instrumental in orchestrating the day's events.


This MoU signifies a strategic move towards a future where educational institutions and industry leaders work hand-in-hand to prepare students for the dynamic demands of the global workforce. LTSU and L&T EduTech are committed to driving this vision forward, ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in their professional journeys.
