Celebration of 1st anniversary of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme

Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab celebrated the 1st anniversary of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme on September 20, 2024, marking a year of empowering traditional artisans and craftspeople through skill development. The event was part of a larger celebration led by the Hon'ble Prime Minister; with LTSU participating virtually in the National Program held in Wardha, Maharashtra.

Prominent dignitaries present at this event included Sh. Mohinder Singh Mann GMDIC SBS Nagar, Sh. Gurmeet Kaler, Block Development Panchayat Officer, Sh. Harmesh Lal, LDM, SBS Nagar, Sh. Gurmeet Singh, Assistant Director, NSTI Ludhiana, Dr. Parvinder Kaur, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dr. Rajiv Mahajan Registrar.  Pro VC LTSU highlighted the importance of continuous upskilling and reskilling for artisans in today's competitive world. During the event, 53 candidates were awarded certificates for completing training in trades such as Tailor, Hairdresser, Carpenter and Mason.
