ACADEMIC CLUB ACTIVITY

The University School of Commerce and Management successfully organized the prestigious Quiz Contest 2025 on April 16, 2025, with the objective of providing students an intellectually enriching and competitive platform to assess their knowledge across diverse disciplines. The primary aim of the event was to enhance students’ awareness in key academic and general areas such as General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Information Technology, Banking Awareness, Science, Economy, Entertainment, Sports, International Affairs, and Anatomy. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members, who contributed to the lively and engaging atmosphere of the event. The quiz was structured in two phases—the Elimination Round, which comprised the Team Round, Buzzer Round, and Rapid-Fire Round, followed by the Final Round, which was conducted in the form of an intense Buzzer Round.

A total of seven teams participated, each consisting of three members: Brainy Bunch (MBA 2nd Year), The Think Tank (BCA R 2nd Year), Mindstromers (BCOM 4th Year), The Brain Trust (BCA R 2nd Year), Masterminds (BCOM 2nd Year), Mind Hunters (BCA S 2nd Year), and Sharp Minds (BCA S 2nd Year).

The event commenced with a clear explanation of rules and regulations to ensure fairness and transparency throughout the competition. The questions posed to the participants were both stimulating and challenging, encouraging critical thinking, quick decision-making, and teamwork. Despite the high level of difficulty, the participants showcased remarkable confidence and intellectual acumen. The competition was conducted within a well-regulated time frame and upheld a spirit of healthy rivalry. The audience, too, found the event highly informative and engaging.

After a fiercely contested final round, Mindstromers (BCOM 4th Year) emerged as the winners, securing the first position, followed by Sharp Minds (BCA S 2nd Year) in second place, and Masterminds (BCOM 2nd Year) in third. Overall, the Quiz Contest 2025 proved to be a grand success, fostering knowledge, collaboration, and academic excellence among students, and leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
