The Lateral Entry scheme provides an excellent opportunity for diploma holders to advance their careers by gaining direct admission to the second year of the B.Tech Electrical Engineering program. This pathway is designed to recognize the skills and knowledge that students have acquired during their diploma studies, allowing them to integrate seamlessly into the B.Tech curriculum.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Completion of a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent degree.

  • Completion of a 2-year (Lateral Entry) Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).

  • B.Sc. degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) and passing of the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

  • Completion of the 1st year of B.Tech from any recognized institute.

  • Admission of foreign students will be as per UGC guidelines.

Course Structure

  • Duration: 3 Years (Non-Residential)

  • First 2 Years: At Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) campus.

  • Final Year: On-the-Job Training (OJT) in industry.


Pay Half Fee After Placement:

Students pay only half of the program fee upfront, with the remaining balance payable after securing a placement meeting LTSU’s criteria, easing financial burdens and allowing students to focus on their studies.

Scholarships:

Scholarships are available as per LTSU's policy, ensuring that meritorious students receive the support they need to succeed.
